A Walk Through St. Charles, IL

After our day hike in Silver Springs, we stopped by St. Charles. The dogs needed a car ride break walk. Charlie insisted on it! We noticed Christmas lights…which led us to explore here! We enjoyed a brightening boost.

Now, for the end of the post video. This video was taken at the Illinois Waterway Visitors Center. We stopped here on our way to Starved Rock State Park. We watched as the barges left the docking area. The barges have great followers – seagulls!! We believe the barges stir up fish for the seagulls. What do you think?
